January Session: BRCA Carrier Stories: Surviving and Thriving with BRCA

Speakers:

Morag Crocker, Kim Sutcliffe, and Catherine Chambers

Session Overview:

Join us for an inspiring session where three remarkable BRCA carrier members in our BC community—Morag Crocker, Kim Sutcliffe, and Catherine Chambers—will share their personal journeys of surviving and thriving with a BRCA mutation. Each speaker will take 20 minutes to tell their story, offering valuable insights into the emotional, physical, and psychological aspects of living with a heightened risk of hereditary cancer, and their individual journeys in cancer and prevention.

Following these powerful testimonials, the session will feature a 30-minute panel Q&A, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, ask questions, and gain further insights from their lived experiences.

This session is a must-attend for anyone affected by BRCA or interested in understanding the personal side of living with a hereditary cancer risk. Come prepared to be moved, inspired, and empowered by the stories of these courageous individuals.
